The Final Chapter
We are about to enter the final stage of our Kenya experience. After five days of hard work in the Kenya sun we are on a well deserved rest and relaxation day at Diani Beach. The work at Muhaka has been very rewarding with the group working on school classrooms including a roof and a plastering walls. We have also worked on a forest conservation project. The days have been long and most in bed by 9pm! Working in the community has been a great experience for all and we have had some great comments from Camps International on how hard we work. We have made a better impression than Ringwood School who are in the same camp!
We move onto the Elephant sanctuary tomorrow with activities which may include goat worming and making paper from elephant dung! NICE!!!
We are due to arrive at Heathrow at 17:10 on Sunday and back in Wimborne by 20:30. Students will call when we leave the airport with an estinated time of arrival.
Everyone is well and enjoying the experience.
See you all on Sunday Evening

Hello from Tsavo!
The expedition continues......
On arriving lastWednesday at Camps International's Tsavo camp we were greeted by a group a Elephants! The camp is very remote with no phone signal! The group is bonding well with the project work very hard and tiring but rewarding.
We have constructed a fence arund a womens group project where they are improving village life by growing their own produce. We completed the fence to keep out the animals in a day! A project at a school which included digging holes to bury water tanks and finishing a concrete floor. Yesterday we mixed and spread 30 tonnes of concrete for an elephant watering hole.
It hasn't all been work! We have just complete 2 days of Safari, the highlight seeing a lioness and her 3 cubs this morning. She came right up to the safari wagons for a photo! We have also seen elephants, buffallo, giraffes and wathogs.
We move on on Thursday to the community part of the project. All are well and enjoying this fantastic experience.
We will blog again next week.

JAMBO from Kenya!
We are having a great time! The beach life is fantastic and everyone is settling in well to the laid back Kenya life.
The group has been working hard learning Scuba or working on a beach conservation project.
A group has taught about marine conservation at a local school making us teachers very proud and a little worried for our own jobs!
The food is good and the locals so friendly.
The evenings are spent around the camp fire on the beach with games and stories of the day.
I have pulled together comments from all the group which I hope to publish next week. Thank you for all yours keep them coming as I have printed them and will pass them around.
Moving on next Wednesday to Tsavo where we are working on wildlife conservation and the safari.
Will blog again soon
